June Salamy Krisch Courtyard  Mansfield, Connecticut, USA

Working with a town-gown committee, Dinep+Schwab LLC transformed this paved-over linear courtyard space linking two streets to create a lush green island edged with reclaimed granite curbing and granite ‘stoop’ seats. For the surrounding five-story mixed use buildings, the new courtyard provides an inviting experience for residential and commercial users alike. This courtyard is dedicated to June Salamy Krisch who contributed much energy and care to the Mansfield Connecticut community.

We look forward to watching the oak trees expand to create a comfortable, habitable space Mansfield will enjoy for years to come.
